Who is Jessica Hahn?

Who is Jessica Hahn? The entertainment world knew her for her 15 minutes of fame with her sex scandal, Hahn is an American model and actress. She is best known for a sex scandal involving televangelist Jim Bakker while she was employed as a church secretary.

Jim Bakker scandal

Hahn she first came to public attention following Bakker's announcement on March 19, 1987 that he was stepping down as head of PTL and Heritage USA, pending the imminent disclosure of the sexual encounter. According to Hahn, on the afternoon of December 6, 1980, when she was a 21-year-old church secretary, she was drugged and raped by Bakker and another preacher, John Wesley Fletcher, for "about 15 minutes."[1] In his 1997 book, I Was Wrong, Bakker disputed Hahn's account, claiming that he was "set up" and that the sex was consensual.[2]

Acting and modelling career

After the public revelation of the Bakker scandal, Hahn posed for Playboy magazine pictorials and videos and appeared in several television shows, including Married... with Children.

Personal life

Hahn was  born July 7, 1959 in Massapequa, New York. She had a relationship with comedian Sam Kinisonand appeared in his music video for "Wild Thing" in 1988. From 1991, she had a relationship with the co-creator of Married...with Children, Ron Leavitt, which continued until Leavitt's death in 2008.[3]

Jessica Hahn appeared on the View February 22, 2010 and embarrass Barbara Walters on national TV. Sherri Shepherd asked Hahn to talk about the "affair she has with Jim Bakker." Hahn apparently took offense and turned the question around on Walters.
"This wasn't an affair," she said. "Unlike, I don't want to be cruel or anything, in your book 'Audition,' you had an affair with a senator."
Like the skilled interviewer she is, Babs turned it right back around to Hahn. "This is about you, my dear. This is not about me, OK?"

Hahn was referring to Walters' admission in her autobiography that she had an affair with Massachusetts Sen. Edward Brooke in the 1970s. At the time, Brooke was the first African-American popularly elected to the Senate, and Walters was a rising star in network news.
