Who is Bill Cunningham?

Who is Bill Cunningham? Cunningham is an American talk radio host. His full-time job is hosting The Big Show with Bill Cunningham, a local show on 700 WLW in Cincinnati, Ohio. Cunningham now hosts Live on Sunday Night, it's Bill Cunningham, which is syndicated to over 300 stations by Premiere Radio Networks. He is also a regular guest on Fox News Channel's Hannity and Colmes.

Cunningham was born on December 11, 1947. His first regular show on the station was at night, generally from 9:00 p.m. until midnight; this meant that his show was not heard during the summer months, when WLW broadcasts Cincinnati Reds baseball games. In the late 1990s, Cunningham's show was moved to early afternoons, which put his show directly opposite that of one of his favorite radio stars, Rush Limbaugh, whose show is heard on sister station 550 WKRC.
In 2001, Cunningham won the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Award for Large-Market Personality of the Year.

Cunningham is a Republican (yet will often distance himself from that label in reaction to what he views as poor Republican politics), and his political views are mostly conservative sometimes libertarian. To the guests or callers whose statements or views Cunningham respects and appreciates, he will often dub them "A Great American." While Cunningham will spend a majority of his show blasting liberal politics, he will often remark about his disfavor of Republicans who do not practice conservative values by calling them "RINO's" (Republican In Name Only). Cunningham's topics include a variety of subjects, but usually focus on national and local (Greater Cincinnati) news and politics. His efforts to discuss conservative sensibilities often lead him to make "edgy" assessments, sometimes resulting in backlash. However, Cunningham will usually attempt to justify (or at least clarify) his points as they relate to local or national issues, typically at the conclusion of his on-air discussions.

This article's Criticism or Controversy section(s) may mean the article does not present a neutral point of view of the subject. It may be better to integrate the material in such sections into the article as a whole.
In 2001, shortly after race-related riots over the police killing of an African-American teenager who was fleeing their pursuit, Federal Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Nathaniel Jones blasted Cunningham in a speech at a local YMCA, calling the show “trash, and filth and profanity.”[1] (Jones is a former civil rights lawyer who worked for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People; Cunningham has been a frequent critic of the organization and civil rights activists in general, particularly Rev. Jesse Jackson, who Cunningham nicknames the "Rhyming Reverend.")

In December 2003, Cunningham drew more fire for making fun of Nathaniel Jones (not to be confused with the aforementioned judge), an African-American resident of Cincinnati who died after violently resisting police outside a White Castle restaurant; video of the incident again inflamed the local African-American community. [2] Jones, who weighed more than 350 lb. (159 kg), was found to have died of an enlarged heart, and various narcotics were found to be present in his body while violently resisting arrest at the time of his death, which may have contributed to his reaction to police efforts to subdue him. Cunningham made fun of Jones' obesity and apparent drug use in a skit on his show, which prompted various local civil rights groups to call for his resignation or firing. [3] Cunningham maintains privately that he, "cannot see how this isn't funny."

On February 26, 2008, Cunningham created another controversy when he spoke at a campaign rally for Republican presidential candidate John McCain at Cincinnati's Memorial Hall, repeatedly referring to Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama by his full name of "Barack Hussein Obama" and calling him "a hack, Chicago-style Daley politician." Cunningham also told the crowd that the media would eventually "peel the bark off Barack Hussein Obama" and reveal his connection with indicted fundraiser Antoin Rezko and the "sweetheart deals" Obama received in Chicago. After the rally, McCain repudiated Cunningham's comments and stated that he wanted "to dissociate myself with any disparaging remarks that may have been said about" Obama. Cunningham later, unrepentantly, called John McCain John "Juan Pablo" McCain, accusing him of "(throwing him under the bus), the Straight- Talk Express."[4]

In 2005, several local news media reported that Cunningham was seriously considering a run for the United States House of Representatives seat for the Second District of Ohio, which was vacated by Rob Portman, who was appointed United States Trade Representative by President George W. Bush. Cunningham later decided not to run.

On October 7, 2007, Cunningham took over the Matt Drudge show airing Sunday nights 10p-1a on 320 radio stations, including his flagship station WLW, which will occasionally preempt the show for special sports programming and does not broadcast the third hour (which is pre-empted for the local hour of America's Trucking Network). The show also airs in its entirety on XM Satellite Radio channel 165, with replays on 158.

Cunningham is a friend of fellow radio host Sean Hannity, who (along with listeners) frequently uses one of Cunningham's catch phrases, "You're a great American"--even though Hannity can't always directly attribute the source of the phrase on the air, since his show is also on 550 WKRC, in competition with Cunningham's WLW. more

Who is Emily Olivia Leah Blunt?

Who is Emily Olivia Leah Blunt? Blunt is an English actress known for her work in the film My Summer of Love and her appearance in The Devil Wears Prada. She won the 2007 Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress for the BBC TV film Gideon's Daughter and was nominated for the same award for The Devil Wears Prada.

Blunt was born 23 February 1983, she is from Roehampton, London, England. She is one of four children born to a barrister father and teacher mother. Her uncle is Crispin Blunt, Conservative Member of Parliament for Reigate. At the age of 16 Blunt moved to a sixth-form college known for its performing arts programme, Hurtwood House, which is where she attracted an agent.
Blunt lived in London and Vancouver. In the latter she shared a home with her now ex-boyfriend, Canadian singer Michael Bublé,[1] whom she first met in Melbourne backstage at the Australian television Logie Awards in 2005. Bublé thought Blunt was a television producer when they met.[2] She later provided background vocals on his cover of "Me and Mrs. Jones" on his album Call Me Irresponsible.[3]
In July 2008, Blunt ended her three-year relationship with Bublé, due to their busy schedules.[4]

Blunt made her professional debut in Bliss a new musical, written by Paul Sellar, at the 2000 Edinburgh Fringe while she was still an A-level student. She went on to perform at the National Theatre and at Chichester Festival Theatre. In 2003, she made her screen debut in the British television drama Boudica, about the life of the ancient British warrior-queen who fought the Romans. She also won considerable praise for her performance as the 16th-century queen Catherine Howard in the two-part British television drama Henry VIII.
Blunt's breakout role was as Tamsin in the dark British movie, My Summer of Love in 2004, which depicted a story of deception and lesbian love in the English countryside. She shared an Evening Standard British Film Award for Most Promising Newcomer with co-star Nathalie Press.
In 2005 she co-starred with Bill Nighy and Miranda Richardson in the British TV drama Gideon's Daughter, an original screenplay written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff, in which she played the troubled only child of New Labour spin doctor Gideon Warner, played by veteran British character actor Bill Nighy.

More recently, she starred opposite Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway in the box-office success, The Devil Wears Prada. Streep and Hathaway received most of the critical attention initially, but Blunt proved to be equally memorable with Entertainment Weekly naming her the Best Female Scene-Stealer in their end-of-summer special issue. She appeared at the 79th Academy Awards where she co-presented the award for best costume design with her The Devil Wears Prada co-star Hathaway. Blunt and Hathaway also lost weight for their roles in the film. In an interview with Us Weekly, Hathaway said “I basically stuck with fruit, vegetables and fish (to slim down for the movie). I wouldn't recommend that. Emily Blunt and I would clutch at each other and cry because we were so hungry." Blunt also spoke about the weight loss, claiming she had to go "painfully thin".[5]

Blunt later co-starred with Susan Sarandon in the independent drama Irresistible. When Sarandon became attached to starring in another movie, The Girl In The Park, she strongly suggested that director David Auburn should cast her. Blunt did audition for the part—she almost received the role—but lost out to Kate Bosworth. She has also worked on a number of upcoming movies: The Young Victoria (in which she plays the title character), Wild Target and The Wolf Man. In 2007, she appeared in the film Charlie Wilson's War.

Who is Zuleyka Jerrís Rivera Mendoza ?

Who is Zuleyka Jerrís Rivera Mendoza? Rivera is a Puerto Rican beauty queen who has held the titles Miss Puerto Rico Universe and Miss Universe 2006. Presently she's making her debut as a telenovela actress in Telemundo's soap opera Dame Chocolate. Her name "Zuleyka" is an Arabic name of brillant and lovely.

Rivera was born October 3, 1987 in Cayey, Puerto Rico, and raised in Salinas, Puerto Rico)
Zuleyka Rivera represented Puerto Rico in the Miss Universe 2006 pageant which was televised live internationally from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on July 23, 2006. After competing in swimsuit, evening gown and interview, she was crowned Miss Universe by outgoing titleholder Natalie Glebova of Canada.

Later that evening, Rivera fainted briefly during a press appearance. The incident was reportedly attributed to heat exhaustion (from the stage lights) coupled with the weight of the heavy, chained dress she was wearing.[1] However this caused controversy as many believed her fainting was due to malnutrition.
Rivera was the fifth Puerto Rican to win the title, which makes the island, along with Venezuela(2008) the second most successful entity in the pageant (behind the United States). Prior to Rivera's win, Puerto Rico had been tied with Venezuela, with each having won the pageant four times. Rivera was the third consecutive delegate from Puerto Rico to make the top five at Miss Universe, after Alba Reyes placed second runner-up at Miss Universe 2004 and Cynthia Olavarría was first runner-up at Miss Universe 2005.

Rivera's win came only five years after Denise Quiñones, the most recent winner from Puerto Rico, won the crown. As Miss Universe, Rivera represents the Miss Universe Organization, both in the United States and internationally. She was based in New York City, where she shared an apartment with Tara Conner, Miss USA and Katie Blair, Miss Teen USA 2006.
At the Miss Universe 2007 pageant she passed her crown to Riyo Mori of Japan in Mexico City, Mexico on May 28, 2007 before a predicted audience of 1 billion viewers[2].

After being crowned on July 23, 2006 in Los Angeles, Zuleyka was interviewed by many news teams in Los Angeles and when she arrived at her new home in New York.
From the end of July until early August, Zuleyka traveled to Japan where she presented the Five Star Diamond Award to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Tokyo. She also participated in a photo shoot with Kurara Chibana, Miss Universe Japan (and first runner-up), and Zuleyka also visited Mikimoto, the creators of her dazzling crown. In late August, Zuleyka traveled to Indonesia where she attended the opening of a new spa, met with the Minister of Culture, and attended the Miss Indonesia Universe pageant where Agni Pratistha was crowned. While in Indonesia, Zuleyka also visited Bali. On September 4, 2006, Zuleyka returned to her home, Puerto Rico for an official homecoming celebration and parade. The following day, Zuleyka returned to her hometown of Salinas.
As of April 2007, Zuleyka has traveled to the Czech Republic, Russia, Turkey, France, Greece, Kazakhstan, India, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Thailand, and Brazil, in addition to Japan, Indonesia, and Puerto Rico.
On April 1, 2007, Rivera appeared at Wrestlemania 23 along with Miss USA 2007 Rachel Smith and Miss Teen USA 2006 Katie Blair, supporting Donald Trump in the Battle of the Billionaires match against Vince McMahon.

She passed on her crown at the Miss Universe 2007 pageant to Japan's Riyo Mori, which was held in Mexico City, Mexico on May 28, 2007.

Raised in Salinas with her parents Jerry Rivera and Carmen Mendoza, and two brothers, Jerry, Jr. and Jose Rivera Mendoza. Prior to winning the Miss Puerto Rico title she won the local pageant for her hometown of Salinas. She had also placed as the first runner-up in the Miss Teen Puerto Rico pageant. Only eighteen years of age when she was crowned Miss Universe, Rivera is one of the youngest women to win the title. She is also the first winner from Puerto Rico to have noticeable mixed heritage features, as her four predecessors (Marisol Malaret,

Dayanara Torres, and Denise Quiñones) all have distinctly European features.

She's dating the former Manhunt International winner Jaime Augusto Mayol [1], who is 7 years older than she is. She and Jaime won their respectives international titles in the same year, 2006.
There is currently much speculation over her relationship with tennis player Novak Djokovic as she was spotted in in the players' box cheering him on during the End of Year Championship in Shanghai. more
