Gansta Boo

Who is Lola Mitchell? The world knows here as Gangsta Boo.was the first female member of the Memphis, Tennessee-based rap group Three 6 Mafia. She left the group following the release of their album When the Smoke Clears: Sixty 6, Sixty 1, over money
disputes.

Boom was born October 27, 1979, she is raised in Memphis, Tennessee. An anomaly within the generally misogynist late-'90s Dirty South rap scene, Gangsta Boo won substantial acclaim among audiences without sacrificing her pride.

Her first solo album, Enquiring Minds, was released in 1998 and reached number fifteen on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and number 46 on the Billboard 200. Enquiring Minds found Gangsta Boo confronting the lyrical issues that hardcore female rappers such as Lil' Kim have to address: sexual politics, money hungry stereotypes, proving that a female can be hardcore, and so on. Enquiring Minds spawned the national anthem "Where Dem Dollas At!?" and helped to build the national stage for the Memphis music scene that was about to come.

After the success of Enquiring Minds, she played a critical role in the multi-platinum success of Three 6 Mafia's When the Smoke Clears: Sixty 6, Sixty 1 in 2000. She left the group following the release of their album When the Smoke Clears: Sixty 6, Sixty 1.

Her 2001 album, Both Worlds *69, reached number eight on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart and number 29 on the Billboard 200. It featured the hit singles "Love Don't Live (U Abandoned Me)" and "Can I Get Paid (Stripper's Anthem)."

Her third album, Her first solo album, Enquiring Minds, was released in 1998 and reached number fifteen on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and number 46 on the Billboard 200.[1][2]: Soap Opera, released in 2003, peaked at number 53 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart and 24 on the Top Independent Albums chart. The album spawned the street hit "Sippin & Spinnin'" and the remix with Bun B has turned into a staple in her music catalog. Boo released the album under her new record label "Crazy Lady Entertainment." The album was also the first teaming of her and producer Drumma Boy whom have since created a musical bond.

Gangsta Boo has also been collaborating with many artists in the rap industry over the past several years. She was featured on Lil Jon & The Eastside boy's 2004 multi-platinum smash "Crunk Juice" on the underground hit "Da Blow." She was featured on OutKast's 2000 album, "Stankonia." Ludacris' 2005 album "Disturbing The Peace." Pastor Troy's 2007 "Tool Muziq," plus countless others that you can find on Google. She also teamed up with Nick Scarfo for the Prophet Posse reunion and been featured on their last three albums, "The Return, Pt. 1," "The Return: Part 2 Belly of The Beast," and "Hood U.S.A."

She also has released several mixtapes over the past few years including, "Street Ringers: Volumes 1 & 2," "Still Gangsta: The Memphis Queen Is Back," and "Gangsta Rock."

Boo is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on her 4th studio album titled "Forever Gangsta," which will hit stores in 2009.

Enquiring Minds II: Soap Opera
, released in 2003, peaked at number 53 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart and 24 on the Top Independent Albums chart.[5][6]

Gangsta Boo a former member of Memphis based rap group 3 6 Mafia turned herself into authorities Tuesday and was released on a $100,000 bond. Now the self proclaimed gangsta is being charged with conspiracy to commit the crime of armed robbery.

Who is Faheem Rasheed Najm?

Who is Faheem Rasheed Najm? The rap world know him by his stage name T-Pain. He is an American hip hop and R&B singer-songwriter,actor , and producer. He began his career as a rapper in the group Nappy Headz. In 2005, his debut album Rappa Ternt Sanga was released and spawned the hits "I'm Sprung" and "I'm N Luv (Wit A Stripper)". Since the release of that album, T-Pain has produced numerous hits of his own and for other rappers and R&B singers. T-Pain has also had over 10 top ten singles on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2008, he won a Grammy with rapper Kanye West for the single "Good Life". In July 2009, T-Pain endorsed the 2009 T-Pain Killa Cam-Pain, a grassroots effort to get him elected as president of Florida State University.[1] He was rated #34 of the most influential people in the world on the 2009 Time 100 list.[2] In 2008, he won a Grammy with rapper Kanye West for the single "Good Life". In 2010, he won another Grammy with Jamie Foxx for the single "Blame It". T-Pain is also the founder of the record label Nappy Boy Entertainment, established in 2005.
Pain was born September 30, 1983 in Tallahassee, Florida.[3] At the age of ten, Najm reworked his bedroom into a small studio with a keyboard, beat machine and four-track recorder, and began composing music. He graduated from James S. Rickards High School.[4] His stage name is short for "Tallahassee Pain" and was chosen because of the hardships he felt while living there.[5] He is a Muslim.[5]

T-Pain recorded his version of Akon's single "Locked Up", titled "Fucked Up". Akon noticed the song and immediately signed T-Pain to Konvict Muzik. T-Pain recorded his first album under the label, Rappa Ternt Sanga, which meant he wanted to be a rapper, but he instead turned to be a singer. The first single is "I'm Sprung". The second single is "I'm N Luv (Wit A Stripper)", featuring Mike Jones. The album debuted at #33 on the Billboard 200, eventually reaching gold.

In 2007, his second album Epiphany came out, with the club-oriented singles "Buy U a Drank

(Shawty Snappin')" featuring Yung Joc and "Bartender" featuring Akon. Both singles were in the Top 5. Epiphany debuted at the top spot of the US Billboard 200 chart,[6] and has sold about 1,000,000 units as of May 2008.[7] being the first number-one album of his career.[8] During that time, he appeared on the singles "I'm a Flirt" remix by R. Kelly with T.I., "Outta My System" by Bow Wow, "Baby Don't Go"

"Freeze", featuring Chris Brown, was confirmed to be the third single. Guest appearances on Thr33 Ringz include T.I., Lil Wayne, Ludacris, DJ Khaled, Ciara, Chris Brown, Kanye West and many more.[14] Pr33 Ringz was the introduction mixtape for the album.

by Ludacris, and "Go Hard" by DJ Khaled with Kanye West. T-Pain and Ludacris collaborated to perform "Chopped & Skrewed" and "One More Drink" on American late-night television programs Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC November 14, 2008 and on NBC's Saturday Night Live on November 22, 2008. T-Pain appeared again on SNL on February 7, 2009 (on the episode hosted by Bradley Cooper with musical guest TV on the Radio) in the SNL Digital Short, "I'm on a Boat", along with castmember Andy Samberg and SNL writer/Lonely Island member Akiva Schaffer.
T-Pain joined rapper Lil Wayne to form the duo T-Wayne.[15] The duo released a self-titled mixtape in late 2008; it charted on the Billboard 200 in January 2009.[16] The debut T-Wayne album is to be released sometime in 2009.[17] On May 31, 2009, T-Pain made an appearance on a live-action episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force as Frylock, where he made his debut as an actor.[18] T-Pain has recently recorded 3 tracks: Special Guest, This Evening, and It's So Easy (with Sophia Fresh). All of the 3 tracks are produced by Tha Bizness.

In an interview with MTV, T-Pain said “I’m droppin a new album called UBER,” T-Pain wrote on his Twitter. “The album just got pushed up, It was gonna come out September next year. [The record label], they’re making me come out November this year. It makes the label look straight. I was gonna chill, because it was so many people that do what I do — now Jay-Z done dropped the ‘Death of Auto-Tuneand its time for me to come back.” [19] In June 2009, T-Pain collaborated with country-pop singer Taylor Swift for the CMT Music Awards, and performed "Thug Story", a parody of Swift's hit single "Love Story".

T-Pain lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife, Amber, and three children: daughter Lyriq, son Muziq, and son Kaydnz Kodah (born May 2009). He has been married to Amber since 2003.[20][21] His song "I'm Sprung" is dedicated to her.
He had two noted legal troubles in 2007. When he refused to cut his set short at Radio One's Spring Fest Concert in Miami on the evening of April 28, 2007, police presence escalated backstage. He became agitated after concert officials stopped his performance of "Buy You a Drink". Police chased T-Pain and his entourage out of the premises and detained them.[22] After a June 2007 concert of T-Pain's, Tallahassee police issued a warrant for his arrest over a suspended driver's license. T-Pain turned himself into the Leon County Jail on November 2, 2007.[23]
On March 27, 2009, T-Pain was involved in a golf cart accident. He suffered cuts, bruises, and four missing teeth and had emergency dental work done. He returned to performing on March 29, 2009.[24] The accident was later referenced in the music video of Glasses Malone's song "Sun Come Up".

      Who is Amil Whitehead?

Who is Amil Whitehead? The rap world knows her by her stage name Amil. She is a American female rapper and singer from New York City.[1] She was prominent in the late 1990s as a Jay-Z protegé, most notably on the single "Can I Get A..." from the Rush Hour soundtrack.

Amil was born September 19, 1978 in New York, New York.[2] She is of African American, Native American (specifically Cherokee), and Caucasian descent.[3]

In 1997, Amil was involved with the all-female group Major Coinz. The group met Jay-Z, who was looking for a woman to provide vocals on his third album, Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life. The part for the female rapper was really for her friend, but when Jay-Z asked Amil to freestyle and liked it, he decided to put her on the song instead. Amil, wanting to remain loyal to her friend, did not prefer to be put on the song, but Jay-Z allowed them both to do a version of the song.

She appeared on his following three albums and in many videos by Jay-Z, Jermaine Dupri, Beanie Sigel, Ja Rule, Tamar Braxton and Jaz-O such as, "Nigga What, Nigga Who" and "Can I Get A..." and "Get None". Her vocals were also featured on many album tracks, including "Hey Papi", "Do It Again (Put Ya Hands Up)",

"S. Carter" and "Playa". In 1998, Amil, Beanie Sigel, Jay-Z and Memphis Bleek, being the main Roc-A-Fella artists at the time, formed supergroup The Dynasty and released the album The Dynasty: Roc La Familia. It is the only Dynasty album they released.

After Major Coinz disbanded, Amil pursued a solo career with Jay-Z's label, Roc-a-Fella. Her solo debut, A.M.I.L - All Money Is Legal, was released in 2000. The album featured the hit single "I Got That", a duet with Beyoncé (the lead singer of R&B group Destiny's Child), and All-Star Roc-A-Fella single "4 Da Fam". The album features Memphis Bleek, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Carl Thomas, Eve, and Beanie Sigel. Album sales were disappointing, and the singles did not sell well either. After that album, her last Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam single was released: "Hey Papi", a song from the soundtrack to the feature film The Nutty Professor II. Due the fact that she was not featured in the video, it was expected that she had already been dropped by that time.

Amil had also gained weight, as she stated, because she wanted to have a baby. Her weight gain was much to Jay-Z's chagrin and he publicly chastised her appearance. It is rumored that these factors contributed to Amil's departure from the label and led to her hiatus from the recording industry. She went on a public relations crusade and her story was heavily circulated through rap music publications prior to her exit from the Roc-a-Fella roster. Amil has been criticized by many artist for her sudden departure from the label.

Amil re-grouped with the Major Coinz and has released songs on the mixtape circuit. She is currently signed to D.O.E. and has a distribution deal with Baby Grande, which is owned by the producer of the movie Soul Plane.
